Refund Policy
Last updated: January 2026. This policy outlines the fee refund process for admissions at KIITech.
1. Application Fee
The application/registration fee paid at the time of applying for admission is non-refundable under any circumstances.
2. Admission Fee Refund
If a candidate withdraws admission before the commencement of classes, the admission fee (excluding the non-refundable registration fee) will be refunded as per applicable AICTE / UGC guidelines and the institute's refund schedule in force at the time.
3. Withdrawal After Classes Commence
In case of withdrawal after the commencement of classes, refunds (if any) will be processed on a pro-rata basis after deducting the proportionate fee for the period of study availed, along with applicable deductions as per regulatory norms.
4. Refund Process & Timeline
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the admissions office along with the original fee receipt. Approved refunds are processed within 30-45 working days to the original mode of payment or the applicant's bank account.
5. Non-Refundable Charges
Caution money, security deposits (unless otherwise specified), examination fees, and charges for optional services (such as hostel mess advance already consumed) are non-refundable.
6. Force Majeure
The institute reserves the right to revise refund timelines in case of circumstances beyond its reasonable control (natural calamities, regulatory directives, etc.).
