Chairman's Message

Dear Students, Parents, and Well-Wishers,

It is with immense pride and a deep sense of purpose that I welcome you to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Institute of Innovation and Technology - KIITech. When Birsa Munda Education Trust envisioned an institute of higher learning in Majhgaon, West Singhbhum, the idea was never simply to build another college. It was to build a place where ambition, discipline, and opportunity meet - a place where a student from this region could access the same quality of technical and management education available anywhere else in the country, without having to leave home to find it.

We named our institute after Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, not merely as a tribute, but as a daily reminder of what education should stand for: curiosity, humility, resilience, and the courage to dream on behalf of others. That philosophy sits at the center of everything we have built here - from our AICTE-approved programs in BCA, BBA, PGDM and Diploma Engineering, to our affiliation with Jharkhand University of Technology, to our unique 9-hour learning model designed to give students more time with faculty, in labs, and on real projects than a conventional classroom day allows.

As KIITech's founding batch begins its journey with us in 2026, I want to be transparent about what we are: a young institute, built with real intent, backed by experienced educators and industry professionals, and supported by the placement network of our affiliating university. We do not claim a long history. What we offer instead is our full attention - smaller founding batches, direct access to faculty and mentors, and an institution that is still shaping its culture together with the very first students who choose to trust us.

Our commitment to accessibility is not incidental - it is core to our mission. We are proud to offer 100% scholarship support for SC/ST students across all our programs, because we believe financial background should never be the reason a capable student is denied a quality education. Every policy we set, every rupee we invest in infrastructure, and every faculty member we bring on board is measured against one question: does this genuinely serve our students?

To every student joining KIITech - you are not just enrolling in a course. You are joining the founding chapter of an institution that will grow because of the effort, integrity, and achievements you bring to it. I encourage you to be curious in the classroom, disciplined in your habits, and generous with your ambition. Our faculty, staff, and I are committed to walking this journey with you, every step of the way.
